About us

At Building A Better Me Inc., our mission is to empower and uplift BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) families by challenging systems of oppression through movement building, mentoring, financial literacy, education, health and wellness, and volunteerism.

We recognize that BIPOC communities face systemic barriers that prevent them from accessing the resources and opportunities necessary for self-determination and empowerment. Therefore, we are committed to doing the challenging work of dismantling these systems and building new ones that are rooted in justice, equity, and inclusivity.

Through our movement-building initiatives, we aim to mobilize BIPOC families and communities to advocate for their rights and challenge oppressive structures. We believe that movement-building is a powerful tool for change and that by working collectively, we can create a world where everyone has access to the resources and opportunities necessary for well-being and success.

In addition to our movement-building work, we offer mentoring, financial literacy, education, health and wellness, and volunteerism programs that empower and uplift BIPOC families. By providing these resources and opportunities, we are building the foundation for a more just and equitable society, one family at a time.

At Building A Better Me Inc., we are committed to fostering a culture of inclusivity, diversity, and equity. We believe that by centering the voices and experiences of BIPOC communities, we can create a world where everyone can thrive and reach their full potential.

We’re proud to be an organization founded and led by BIPOC women.
